The Irish Osteoporosis Society is a registered charitable organisation in Ireland – (Registered Charity Number (RCN): 20034191).
The organisation has two full-time employees to cover the work of the charity in the Republic of Ireland.

The Charity is very dependent on Charity Membership Fees (€50 annually). These come from people whom the Charity has helped via the National Helpline. Other support comes from those who avail of information on our website, as well as from our sponsors.

By supporting the Charity, you are helping to increase Osteoporosis awareness. Sadly only 15% of sufferers are diagnosed. Osteoporosis is preventable and treatable in most cases.

Please take a moment to look at our website and our social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube). Please tell your family and friends about our work.

Each year, the IOS organises an annual Medical Conference for healthcare professionals to keep them updated on new developments in the treatment of Osteoporosis.
