IOS Annual Medical Conference 2016

The Irish Osteoporosis Society held their Annual Medical Conference on Saturday 22nd October in TCD.

All areas of Osteoporosis were covered including: vitamin D and the link with genetics; what GP’s can do as they are on the front line of seeing these patient; the significant link with Diabetes.

Professor Bernard Walsh was awarded the Irish Osteoporosis Society Lifetime achievement award for his outstanding work and commitment  in the area of Osteoporosis.

·         Your abstract may have up to 250 words.

·         Abstracts should be typed in word format and sent as an attachment by email to:  Please ensure that Abstract IOS 2016 is typed in the subject box of your email.

Please ensure that the abstract is sent from the e-mail address to which correspondence is to be sent and include a contact telephone number / mobile number for the presenter/author.

·         No patient identifiers accepted on any material.

·         Accepted abstracts in each award category will be invited to make an oral presentation: 5 slides, 5 minutes each with 2 mins questions.
