The Irish Osteoporosis Society held their
Annual Medical Conference on Saturday 22nd October in TCD.
All areas of Osteoporosis were covered including: vitamin D and the link with genetics; what GP’s can do as they are on the front line of seeing these patient; the significant link with Diabetes.
Professor Bernard Walsh was awarded the Irish Osteoporosis Society Lifetime achievement award for his outstanding work and commitment in the area of Osteoporosis.
