The Irish Osteoporosis Society are asking all participants of the Flora mini marathon to consider running or walking for the charity. 
There is no other organisation in the Republic of Ireland that deals specifically with osteoporosis, and this is why we are asking all those who participate in the Flora mini marathon to please consider the Irish Osteoporosis Society as their Charity for this event.

Brent Pope’s ‘Bones’

‘Bones’ is a great new children’s book written by ‘Irish Kiwi’ Brent Pope with all proceeds going to the Irish Osteoporosis Society. Aimed at 7-12 year-olds and beautifully illustrated, Bones tells the story of a lazy teenager who won’t exercise and eats only junk food!

Here is Brent launching the book with some young readers and members of the New Zealand All-Blacks rugby team.
